Research Interests
I am broadly interested in the ecology of predaceous diving beetles (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) in natural and restored freshwater wetlands. My research is focused on:

1. determining seasonal and spatial patterns of invertebrate predators in the Jackson Lane wetlands, Caroline County, MD

2. determining selection of prey by larvae of the predaceous diving beetle, Agabus punctatus, and assessing the ability of this predator to contribute to natural supression of mosquito larvae in wetlands
